Sick Meal Service for Resident Students
If you are a resident student and are feeling unwell, we understand that it may not be wise for you to come to the dining hall for a meal. To help, we offer a Sick Meal service that allows you to have a meal collected on your behalf by a representative.
How to Request a Sick Meal:
- Complete the Online Sick Meal Request Form.
- Send a Representative: Have a friend or another individual come to the dining hall to pick up your meal. Please make sure your representative wears a mask to ensure safety.
- Meal Pickup Instructions: Your representative should go to the greeter's station at the entrance of the dining hall and give your name to collect the meal.
Meal Details:
- Sick Meals are available at no additional cost for students with a resident dining plan.
- The service is intended to provide basic nutrition for short-term illness and does not replace long-term medical care.

- Scrambled eggs
- Breakfast potatoes
- Bagel
- Fruit
- Lunch & Dinner Sick Meal:
- Soup
- Grilled chicken
- Rice
- Vegetables
- Ginger Ale
- Cookie
Meal Pickup Timing:
- Yahentamitsi and South Campus Dining Halls close at 9 p.m. every day.
- Pickup by 8:30 p.m.
- 251 North Dining Hall:
- Closes at 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
- Closes at 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Pickup by 9:30 p.m. (Mon-Thu) and 6:30 p.m. (Fri-Sun).
- Notice: Please place your Sick Meal request at least one hour before the dining hall closes. We need at least 30 minutes' notice to prepare the meal.
Important Information:
- Sick Meals are intended for short-term illness. If you are experiencing severe or extended illness (more than three days), we recommend visiting the Health Center for assistance.
- Sick Meals are available for pickup at any of the three dining halls: South Campus, Yahentamitsi, and 251 North.
- Hours may change during academic breaks and summer, so be sure to check for any updates.
Your representative should pick up the meal at the greeter's station at the dining hall you choose, and we will bring the meal to them.
