The Blueprint includes information about Structured Learning Opportunities, Informal, Small Group Development Series, and Experience-Based Development

  • EnGen - a mobile-first, results-driven platform, we are giving a voice to an underserved community, providing them with the English and workforce readiness skills they need to improve their economic prospects and workplace productivity.
  • DSA Leadership Coaching - a tailored digital coaching experience aimed at empowering leaders to reach their fullest potential
  • Stamp’s Studio A (formerly known as The Art & Learning Center) - Weekly classes and frequent workshops, they provide the opportunity to learn new skills, explore a topic, or pursue a creative passion. Take a class or schedule a workshop with your staff, including art, ceramics, photography, dance, and more.
  • Mental Health First Aid Training - teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This 8-hour training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.

  • CLOC (Center for Leadership & Organizational Change)  - offers a series of learning programs, including CliftonStrengths, Thrive Thursday, and Sharpen My Saw, plus a catalog of topics they can deliver your staff. They also offer coaching and supervisory support. Sign up for their Food for Thought Friday e-newsletter with quick links to flourish at work!
  • UMD Open Learning - non-credit courses for the university and beyond, both fee-based and free. Check out the Getting Started Guide to learn how to find and enroll in courses.
  • UMD Libraries - learn how to find, borrow, and request materials. From checking out materials, requesting an interlibrary loan, access online databases, and reserving spaces, our campus libraries have a lot to offer. They also offer Colloquiums and Workshops, as well as opportunities to meet and seek help from a Subject Specialist to find resources specific to you or a particular topic of interest.
  • EdX Free Online Courses from UMD -  free online courses in a variety of subjects, with a particular focus on project management topics.
  • LinkedIn Learning - the entire LinkedIn Learning series of online courses is available to any UMD staff member. Develop knowledge and skills on a wide variety of software, skills, and disciplines taught by industry experts.
